If used in a net or a field, the TechDisc module itself is backed up by a 1-year full replacement warranty for manufacturing defects, or failure due to normal usage.
The module is waterproof; IPx5 rated, (dew-proof, not dunk-proof.)
As for the disc, we use premium plastic so that the disc lasts as long as possible. It is designed to be thrown into a net or field and shouldn't beat-in, noticeably.
Remember TechDisc only measures how you throw the disc, not how the disc flies. So, even if the disc does become worn and more understable, it still won't affect the data at all.
