What are Throw Sets?
Think of Throw Sets as custom practice routines in disc golf, but built around analyzing your throws with data. Instead of just throwing a bunch of discs, you create a set with specific throws in mind, then use TechDisc to measure how consistent you are at making those throws.
Why Create Throw Sets?
There are two main reasons to create Throw Sets:
- Identify Strengths and Weaknesses: By looking at data on speed, spin, wobble, and release angle of your throws, you can see areas where you're consistent and areas that vary a lot. This helps you target your practice more effectively.
- Track Progress Over Time: You can create Throw Sets to track your progress on specific skills. Over time, as you practice, you can see if your throws are becoming more consistent across different metrics.
How to create a Throw Set.
- Go to the throw table at https://techdisc.com/table.html.
- Apply Filters (optional):

- Select, by checking, the throws you would like to include in your throw set. Throw sets are limited to 30 throws. For help with filtering your throws within the table see the Throw Table article.
