TechDisc offers a free Flight Simulator for anyone to use. Create virtual disc profiles with flight numbers and weight, then simulate throws to see how they behave. Modify metrics (speed, spin, hyzer angle, etc.) to understand their impact on flight. Explore discs virtually, grasp flight numbers, and plan throws strategically.
Flight simulations are based on physics equations. Real-world throws may be affected by additional factors such as disc wear, wind, elevation changes, and terrain.
Using the simulator:
Go to the Flight Simulator.
Input your desired disc (speed, glide, turn, weight) and typical metrics (speed, spin, hyzer, etc)
Click (or tap) "Simulate Throw" to see the flight path.
The web app (Chrome) allows you to review throws in a 3D simulation within the app.
Accessing the free DGPT Hole:
You can also see the throw stats necessary to play some of your favorite DGPT holes. We rotate these holes throughout the course of the year.
Click on the settings icon in the top right corner of the Flight Simulator. From here you can change from the Driving Range, to our most recent DGPT hole.
