Whenever a throw is uploaded to your TechDisc account it is immediately visible across all apps logged into your account. This means you can connect the TechDisc to a phone, but view the results on a computer (or vice versa). Here are some common use cases:
- Upload throws on the mobile app --> View the 3D flight path or play Stroke Play on the web app
- Android and iOS devices typically have fast and reliable Bluetooth, which is great for uploading throws from the TechDisc. Keeping the app open in the foreground will get the fastest Bluetooth speeds.
- The web app can be shown on a TV or projector for a bigger 3D simulator experience. Stroke Play and the 3D simulator are available on any web browser.
- Record video on the mobile app --> Review the video on a bigger screen
- Position your phone on a tripod to get the video angle and framing just right. This is typically 10-15 feet away from the release point.
- Use a computer, iPad or another phone that is within easy reach to quickly review the video without walking around the tripod.
- Videos captured on the first phone are automatically uploaded to the cloud and available for playback on any other app within seconds.
